The Bean Sprouts hit their BIG achievement of earning 90 Community Pride Points by being responsible, ready, and safe in the classroom. They celebrated with a pizza party where they made their own mini pizzas using a few simple ingredients (see below for the recipe). It was a real pizza work! What You'll Need
Ingredients:
Snow storms, Daylight Saving Time and, of course, the day to day stress of living in a kid's world can be tough. To fight the fidget and calm the nerves the Bean Sprouts made their very own DIY stress balls using balloons, a funnel and their own homemade playdough. Many of the students even personalized their stress balloon with hair, an emoji-like face and a fun name, making them their stress free buddy. With just a few household supplies and the step by step procedure (as seen below), you and your Bean Sprout can whip up a few stress balls in no time. No need to feel under pressure.. just squeeze, keep calm and carry on. What You Will Need: Ingredients:
1. Combine flour and salt in a ziplock bag 2. Add water and oil, then mix the ingredients together 3. Knead the ingredients 4. Put neck of the funnel in balloon 5. Add a little water 6. Put playdough in funnel 7. Use fingers and popsicle stick to push playdough down 8. When playdough is all the way in the balloon, take the funnel out and tie balloon shut 9. Draw a face using a Sharpie and add yarn to your stress ball for some crazy hair! 10. Don't forget to name your stress ball!!
